The Toronto Blue Jays are going to have to wait another day for Alek Manoah's major-league debut.

Wednesday night's game against the New York Yankees has been postponed due to inclement weather and will be made up as the first game in a double-header on Thursday.

The opener of Thursday's twinbill will be at 4:05 p.m. ET/1:05 p.m. PT, and the nightcap will start roughly 30 minutes after the final out of the first game but no earlier than 7:05 p.m. ET/4:05 p.m. PT.

Manoah will get the start for the Blue Jays in the first game of the double-header while Robbie Ray will take the mound in the second.

The 23-year-old Manoah has impressed over starts for triple-A Buffalo this season, going 3-0 with a 0.50 ERA. The 2019 first-round pick struck out 27 and walked just three over 18 innings.
