The New York Yankees and Minnesota Twins have postponed their home openers from Thursday to Friday due to pending inclement weather.
The Yankees will now host the Boston Red Sox on Friday at 1:05 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT while the Twins will host the Seattle Mariners at 4:07 p.m. ET / 1:07 PT.
The lockout-delayed MLB season will still open with seven games Thursday, including Shohei Ohtani and the Angels hosting the Houston Astros on SN NOW at 9:38 p.m. ET / 6:38 p.m. PT.
The Toronto Blue Jays open their 2022 campaign at home against Marcus Semien and the Texas Rangers on Friday. Sportsnet and SN NOW will have full coverage beginning with a special edition of Tim & Friends from the Rogers Centre at 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT followed by a one-hour Blue Jays Central pre-game show ahead of first pitch at 7:07 p.m. ET / 4:07 PT.
