Blue Jays announce lineup for win-or-go-home Game 2 vs. Rays

The Toronto Blue Jays have announced their lineup for Game 2 of the American League wild-card series against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Hyun-Jin Ryu gets the start on the mound as the Jays look to avoid elimination at the hands of their division rival. Changes from Monday’s lineup includes Travis Shaw at first base with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. shifting to DH, while Joe Panik gets the nod at second in place of Jonathan Villar.

The full starting lineup is as follows:

Third base: Cavan Biggio

Shortstop: Bo Bichette

Left field: Lourdes Gurriel Jr.

Designated hitter: Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Centre field: Randal Grichuk

Right field: Teoscar Hernandez

First base: Travis Shaw

Second base: Joe Panik

Catcher: Danny Jansen

Pitcher: Hyun-Jin Ryu

The Blue Jays dropped Game 1 on Tuesday in a 3-0 loss at Tropicana Field. Game 2 gets underway Tuesday afternoon on Sportsnet and SN Now at 4:07 p.m. ET/1:07 p.m. PT.
