Blue Jays enter rain delay vs. Red Sox

It seems that things got a little soggy in Boston.

The Toronto Blue Jays‘ Wednesday game against the Boston Red Sox entered a rain delay at the top of the second inning. The Blue Jays had one out, Davis Schneider on first base and Danny Jansen at the plate when the delay was called. There was no score.

The teams have yet to provide an estimated time of resumption.

The Blue Jays are looking to end their road trip with a series win before heading back to Rogers Centre to take on the New York Yankees. Thursday’s 9-4 win over the Red Sox halted a seven-game losing streak that saw back-to-back series sweeps.
