Blue Jays’ Hernandez reinstated from restricted list, will be active vs. Rangers

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez has been reinstated from the restricted list and will be active for Sunday’s series finale against the Texas Rangers.

Hernandez missed the past three games to be with his wife as she gave birth to the couple’s third child.

The 29-year-old Hernandez is batting a .263/.315/.476 slash line with 20 homers and 64 RBI this season.

Toronto also optioned infielder Otto Lopez to triple-A Buffalo.
