Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier leaves game after slamming into wall

The Toronto Blue Jays will be without Kevin Kiermaier for the rest of Sunday’s game against the Texas Rangers.

Kiermaier slammed into the centre-field wall in the top of the sixth inning. He stayed in the field after being assessed but was removed at the changeover.

The Blue Jays later announced he had suffered a bruised hip.

The 34-year-old returned to the lineup in the series finale after sitting out Saturday.
