Cavan Biggio‘s time with the Los Angeles Dodgers has seemingly come to an end.

Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports that Biggio was designated for assignment ahead of Freddie Freeman’s return to the lineup on Monday.

Biggio, 29, was traded to the Dodgers in June after he was designated for assignment by the Toronto Blue Jays.

In 74 games this season the left-handed-hitting utility player is hitting .197/.316/.306 with five home runs and 70 strikeouts.
