Kevin Gausman caught the first pitch marking the Toronto Blue Jays Pride celebration before Friday’s game against the Minnesota Twins.
The first pitch was thrown out by 2SLGBTQ+ consultant leZlie lee cam.
As part of the celebration and in honour of Pride Month, the Jays Care Foundation and TDBank Canada presented a cheque before the game for $45,000 that will be donated to nine 2SLGBTQ+ organizations.
