Calgary's Hakeem Dawodu is 7-0-1 in mixed martial arts.

Undefeated featherweight Hakeem Dawodu signed with the UFC back in November and is set to make his promotional debut against Danny Henry at UFC Fight Night: Werdum vs. Volkov on March 17 in London, England.

In order to prepare for the biggest fight of his life, the 26-year-old Calgary native has been training overseas with Conor McGregor’s SBG Ireland team.

Dawodu’s coach, Brian Bird, has a history with SBG Ireland coach John Kavanagh so that was his in. Dawodu says he has enjoyed his time in Ireland and is confident heading into his matchup with Henry.

“I feel that no matter where the fight goes I’ll be the one on top,” Dawodu said.
