While the UFC appears set to give former WWE star CM Punk a second fight in the Octagon in order to draw eyes to their product, Bellator MMA has added a reality TV star to its roster.
Aaron Chalmers, a former cast member of the popular MTV series Geordie Shore (the British version of Jersey Shore), will look to improve to 4-0 as a mixed martial artist when he faces Ash Griffiths in a 163-pound catchweight bout at the upcoming Bellator 200.
Chalmers, 30, has competed three times for the U.K.-based BAMMA promotion, finishing each of his opponents in the first round. Mind you, none of his opponents had a win to their record, but the Newcastle, England native has proven power in his hands and solid finishing instinct.
Chalmers worked on an oilrig before joining the cast of Geordie Shore in 2014.
Griffiths (4-5) is looking to snap a three-fight losing skid.

Bellator 200 is set to take place May 25 at the SSE Arena, Wembley in London, England and it’s shaping up to be a strong card.
The event is headlined by a middleweight championship bout between titleholder Rafael Carvalho and challenger Gegard Mousasi. Also featured on the main card is a heavyweight contest between former UFC knockout artists Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic and Roy Nelson, a light-heavyweight tilt featuring former champs Phil Davis and Linton Vassell, plus a welterweight showdown between standouts Michael “Venom” Page and David Rickels.
