Leon Edwards took another huge step towards proving he’s among the top handful of welterweights in mixed martial arts over the weekend when he outclassed Rafael dos Anjos in the main event of a UFC Fight Night card in San Antonio, Texas.

Edwards (18-3) took home an impressive unanimous decision victory after five hard rounds at the AT&T Center to extend his current winning streak to eight.

After the fight, Edwards made sure to call out Jorge Masvidal who punched him backstage at an event in England earlier this year.

Dos Anjos (29-12) is a former lightweight champion who has now dropped decisions in three of his past four outings in the 170-pound weight class.

Heavyweight Walt Harris picked up a 12-second knockout win over Aleksei Oleinik in the co-main event, while former NFL star Greg Hardy made quick work of Juan Adams in a featured bout.
