Ladies and gentlemen, we have a Georges St-Pierre sighting.
No, the Canadian mixed martial arts superstar didn’t announce a return to the UFC, but he did add his name to the growing list of athletes that completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
St-Pierre, who vacated his UFC welterweight title last December and announced he was stepping away from MMA, posted a video of him fulfilling the task on his Facebook page.
St-Pierre then nominated his action star idols Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme, plus Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard.
The Ice Bucket Challenge was started by former Boston College baseball player Pete Frates earlier this summer in order to raise awareness for ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease, and generate funds to research the illness.
Many stars from the UFC have done it, including Ronda Rousey, Dana White, Lorenzo Fertitta and Frankie Edgar.
