As the UFC flyweight division continues to grow, we’re seeing more and more quality matchups and two outstanding ones have been added to the early 2014 schedule.
A potential No. 1 contender bout between Ali Bagautinov and John Lineker was officially added to the UFC 169 lineup.
Bagautinov (12–2) is unbeaten in the UFC and coming off a unanimous decision win over Tim Elliott at UFC 167, while Lineker (23–6) has won four straight in the Octagon including three straight by knockout.
UFC 169 takes place Feb. 1 in Newark, N.J.
An intriguing 125-pound bout between Darrell Montague and Will Campuzano has been added to UFC 171 that takes place on March 15 in Dallas.
Montague (13-3) lost his UFC debut after running into the buzz saw that is John Dodson at UFC 166 and Campuzano (13-5) was outlasted by Sergio Pettis at UFC 167 in a bantamweight bout he took on short notice.

— UFC veterans George Sotiropoulos and Alessio Sakara and Rosi Sexton were been released by the promotion following losses.
— Francisco Rivera is set to take on fellow bantamweight Raphael Assuncao at UFC 170 in February in what should be the toughest test of his career so far.
— Kickboxing standout Stephen Thompson is set to face TUF: The Smashes winner Robert Whittaker at UFC, according to FOX Sports.
— UFC veterans George Sotiropoulos and Alessio Sakara, plus Rosi Sexton have been released by the promotion.
— Fresh of impressive wins at UFC on FOX 9, lightweights Abel Trujillo and Bobby Green will meet at UFC 169. Also at the event, Tony Martin and Rashid Magomedov will lock horn at 155 pounds and Neil Magny is set to face Gasan Umalatov at welterweight.
— TUF 17 veteran Luke Barnatt faces Mats Nilsson a UFC Fight Night event in London, England on March 8 and Brad Scott welcomes Claudio Henrique da Silva to the UFC at the same event.
