Phil Brooks, aka CM Punk, is set for his UFC debut Sept. 10 at UFC 203 in Cleveland and the anticipation is building.

The former professional wrestling superstar is 37 years old and doesn’t even have one amateur fight on his record. Still, the UFC is taking a chance on the 0-0 aspiring mixed martial artist. His first opponent is 24-year-old Mickey Gall, who went 2-0 as an amateur and is 2-0 as a pro.

The UFC is chronicling Punk’s journey to the UFC in a documentary series called “The Evolution of Punk.”

Here is part one titled “The Ground Up.”

And part two called “A Little Bit Crazy.”
