Canada's final warm-up match ahead of Saturday's ICC Men's T20 World Cup opener was called off Thursday due to heavy rain in the Dallas area.
The 23rd-ranked Canadians were slated to face the 15th-ranked Netherlands at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium located some 20 kilometres west of Dallas. A United States-Nepal warm-up at the same venue was also scrapped Thursday.
Canada beat No. 17 Nepal by 63 runs in Grand Prairie in a warm-up game Monday.
The Canadian men open the tournament Saturday against the U.S. at the Grand Prairie venue, a repurposed stadium that was once the home of the Texas AirHogs of the American Association of Professional Baseball.

Canada has been drawn in Group A with No. 1 India, No. 6 Pakistan, No. 11 Ireland and the 18th-ranked Americans at the 20-team tournament, which runs through June 29 in the U.S. and West Indies.
