Jake Paul made quick work of Ryan Bourland, winning Saturday's boxing bout with a first-round TKO in Puerto Rico.
With the win in the cruiserweight fight, Paul improved to 9-1 with six knockouts as a boxer.
It was the second fight in a row in which Paul stopped his opponent in the first round, after he knocked out Andre August in December.
Bourland is 17-3.
Paul, the YouTube star-turned boxer, landed a flurry of punches with Bourland backed against the corner before the referee stopped the bout at 2:37 of the first round.
Per USA Today, Paul said afterward he wanted a fight with super middleweight world champ Canelo Alvarez.
"I’m ready for the big leagues," Paul said. "I’m getting sharp. This is my life now. Like I said, I’m on the road to world champion, and Canelo, stop ducking. I know you want it. ..."
It wasn't a perfect night for Paul, though.
Women's boxing champion Amanda Serrano was prevented from fighting in the main event on the card because of an eye injury, forcing her homecoming bout in Puerto Rico to be scrapped at the last minute.
Serrano was to defend her IBF, WBA, and WBO women’s featherweight titles against Germany’s Nina Meinke, with Paul, who is also her agent, fighting in the previous bout so Serrano could have the main event in front of her home fans.
