Nov. 11 is Remembrance Day in Canada and Veterans Day in the United States, marking the end of World War I.
The day gives Canadians and Americans a chance to pause their lives to reflect on the sacrifices those in the military have made to protect the freedoms we all enjoy.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted how normal Remembrance Day celebrations occur, athletes from across the sports world still took time to share tributes on social media to those who served and continue to serve.
THANK YOU to all our veterans who have served!… and THANK YOU to the men and women who are bravely serving our great countries now! God Bless you all! #VeteransDay #LestWeForget
