Canadian boxer Lucas Bahdi delivered a violent TKO to win his bout on the Jake Paul-Mike Perry card Saturday.
Bahdi, from Niagara Falls, Ont., knocked out Ashton “H2O” Sylve in the sixth round with a vicious one-two combo that left his opponent motionless on the mat.
The 30-year-old improved to 17-0-0 since turning pro in 2019, including 15 wins by TKO.
Bahdi last fought on June 1 in his hometown, when he knocked out Jose Luis Rodriguez.
Before that bout, he told the Niagara Falls Review that he was hoping to take the next step in his career soon. With a shocking knockout on a big stage, he just might do that.
“I’m sitting in a good spot, in the top 15 in a couple of organizations,” he said at the time. “Now, I’m ready to take the next step and crack the top 10s and fight some of the best fighters in the world.”
