Rogers Sports & Media launches Hearts and Smiles in support of frontline workers

As frontline healthcare workers across the nation continue to help protect Canadians amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the country has come together in showing them thanks and appreciation.

On Tuesday, which is also International Nurses Day, Rogers Sports & Media announced the launch of Hearts and Smiles — a campaign to honour, applaud, and raise funds for all frontline healthcare workers.

As part of the campaign, Canadians can purchase t-shirts and masks online, with all proceeds from every purchase going directly to The Frontline Fund.

The Frontline Fund is a charity that supports 150 hospital foundations across the country, with a focus on supplying healthcare workers with the personal protective equipment needed to stay safe on the job and support in the form of mental health resources and safe accommodations near hospitals. It also helps fund crucial research for treatment and vaccine development.

Beginning Tuesday, t-shirts will be available individually or paired with a mask, with masks also available in packs of 10. Visit www.heartsandsmiles.ca for more information.
