The sports world has come out in support of Toronto after a shooting in the east end of the city on Sunday night has left two dead and 13 injured.
Police have confirmed that two victims — an 18-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl — have died after a lone gunman opened fire on a section of Danforth Avenue in the middle of Toronto’s Greektown.
Following the tragic events, tweets from athletes and sports teams from across Canada have poured in.
