Considered to be a once-in-a-lifetime event, Monday’s total solar eclipse flooded the Twittersphere.
The world of sports made its usual stellar contribution. From athletes to coaches to team Twitter accounts, everyone had their time to shine as they took advantage of the natural phenomenon.
While waiting for the moon to eventually cover the sun, the MLB was also reminded of another quality shadow.
The NFL players and teams have been busy at training camp, getting ready for the 2017 season, but even they couldn’t resist taking a few minutes to at least try and enjoy the eclipse.
Mannn yall trippin , where the eclipse at? Me n @bradwing9 can’t find it no where!

The NBA took a similar approach to the one of the Broncos by using puns, but the Atlanta Hawks took it a step further.

Just like the Suns, Warren Moon seems to be fed up with all the jokes coming his way.

Others have embraced the eclipse by poking some fun at themselves. No one did it better than Roberto Luongo.
Making sense of the entire solar system is no easy task, and we’re sure we’re not the only ones who feel that way.
