Philadelphia 76ers star centre Joel Embiid and star forward Paul George have both been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to the team's injury report.
The 76ers are playing the second game of a back-to-back and both players are listed with left-knee management on the report.
The 76ers dropped their first game of NBA Cup action Tuesday against the New York Knicks with Embiid scoring 13 points and George finishing with 29. It was Embiid's first game of the season and George's fifth.
Philadelphia guard Tyrese Maxey is due to miss at least two weeks with a hamstring injury.
The 76ers have stumbled out of the gates this season, registering a 2-8 record through the first 10 games. The Cavaliers, on the other hand, couldn't have gotten off to a better start, winning their first 12 contests.
