Following their trade to Toronto, new acquisitions RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley are set to make their Raptors debuts against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Sportsnet's Michael Grange reported.
In a blockbuster move on Saturday, the Raptors traded away OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa and Malachi Flynn for Barrett, Quickley and a 2024 second-round pick by way of Detroit, shocking the basketball world.
The Raptors have not seen their new players suit up yet, with the team having the day off on Sunday after taking an understandable loss on Saturday with a shorthanded roster following the trade.
"I just practised so I don't know what's gonna happen," Barrett said about his availability against the Cavaliers on Monday. "I just got here, I know nothing."
The two new Raptors players participated in their first practice and shootaround with the team on Monday at the OVO Athletic Centre in Toronto.
"We went over some stuff just now, trying to learn stuff on the fly," Barrett said following shootaround. "I just got here, I'm just trying to see how these games go and see how we can grow as a group."
