Canada's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continues to make headlines in the NBA, the latest being named Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
The Oklahoma City guard averaged 31.3 points and 6.3 assists over three games from Feb. 6-12 in which he led his team to a 2-1 record.
Gilgeous-Alexander, 24, continues his rise to stardom in 2022-23, as not only is he averaging a career-high 31 points per game, but he was also named to his first-ever NBA All-Star Game.
This is the Kentucky product's fifth season as a pro, and fourth with Oklahoma City. He currently has the Thunder in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race as they currently sit 10th and in the final play-in spot with a record of 27-28.
Devin White of the Boston Celtics was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
