The Dallas Mavericks have signed Canadian forward Eugene Omoruyi to a two-way contract, the team announced.
Omoruyi is averaging a team-high 16.0 points and 7.0 rebounds through two games for the Mavericks in the summer league. The Canadian did not get selected in the 2021 NBA Draft.
The 24-year-old averaged 17.1 points per game with Oregon during the 2020-21 season. The Orangeville, Ont., native was named to the All-Pac-12 First Team.
