Oklahoma City Thunder guard Luguentz Dort will miss the remainder of the 2021-22 NBA season after undergoing a successful season-ending surgery to nurse a labrum tear in his left shoulder.
The Montreal native is currently averaging 17.2 points and 4.2 rebounds this season through 51 games for the Thunder who currently sit 14th in the Western Conference.
The Thunder were also dealt two more injury blows as the team released a statement that included updates on forward Mike Muscala and guard Ty Jerome, both set to miss the remainder of the season as well.
Muscala, who last played February 4 against the Portland Trailblazers, underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure and additional lateral ligament repair on his right ankle. Jerome, who has been absent from the court since February 14, also underwent a successful procedure to address a sports hernia.
