The Boston Celtics will be without Robert Williams III and Marcus Smart for the rest of the game against the Toronto Raptors.
Smart suffered an ankle injury in the final moments of the second quarter as he appeared to twist his ankle as he was trying to dribble past Gary Trent Jr. and Pascal Siakam. Smart would stay down on the court and would be helped off the court by trainers and couldn't put much weight on his right leg.
Williams was also ruled out for the rest of the game with a left knee hyperextension. The centre appeared to suffer the injury earlier in the game as he banged his knee and was slow to get up but would try to play through before leaving in the second quarter.
In 40 games this season, Smart is averaging 11.4 points, 7.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds while Williams III is averaging 8.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists in just 14 games.
