Boston Celtics centre Kristaps Porzingis confirmed to media Wednesday that he will be available for Thursday's Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks.
Porzingis suffered a calf strain on April 29 in Game 4 of Round 1 against the Miami Heat and has missed the Celtics' last 10 games.
The seven-foot-two big man said although he will play in Game 1, the extent of his minutes will determined by his conditioning level.
The Celtics registered a 9-1 record in Porzingis's absence.
Porzingis is facing off against his old team in the Finals, having played for the Mavericks from 2019-2022.
