It was officially "Dame Time" in Portland on Sunday.
Damian Lillard became the latest NBA player to drop a monster stat line on Sunday night, catching fire to drop 71 points against the Houston Rockets including an absurd 41 in the first half.
Lillard shot 22-of-38 from the floor and made 13 threes as he set the mesh on fire all night as the Blazers took home a 131-114 win.
His 41 points in the first half were capped off by a three from just over the half-court line, living up to his "Logo Lillard" nickname.
Lillard also had a viscous jam in the second half to prove he can score in every which way.
The 71 Lillard scored tied for the highest-mark set in the NBA this season, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell also dropped 71 earlier this year. Mitchell's own mother took notice of Lillard's career-night, and clearly wants her son to go out there and take back the record.
With the career mark, Lillard became just the eighth player in NBA history to score 70 or more in a game.
Understandably, NBA players, media and fans rushed to social media to shower Lillard with praise for his incredible performance.
