Sportsnet has produced a feature documentary series on the history of the Toronto Raptors to celebrate the team's 30th anniversary and the first episode will debut later this month.
The series features four 15-minute docs that will be rolled out during the Raptors on Sportsnet season and later will be assembled into a one-hour documentary:
• The Birth, which covers the early days of the franchise, including the Damon Stoudamire era will debut on Dec. 26 after the Raptors play the Memphis Grizzlies on Sportsnet and Sportsnet ONE.
• The Rise, which focuses on the dunk heard around the world and the Vince Carter era will debut on Jan. 29 following the Raptors game against the Washington Wizards on Sportsnet ONE.
• The Re-Birth, which covers the excitement of the Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan era will debut on Feb. 23 after the Raptors face the Phoenix Suns on Sportsnet ONE.
• The Prize, which culminates the Raptors' thrilling championship season will debut March 24 following Toronto's game against the Wizards.
