Toronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet will return to the court Monday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.

VanVleet, who was listed as probable, sat out Saturday during the second half of a back-to-back as he continues to deal with soreness in his right knee.

The 28-year-old all-star is averaging 21.3 points, 6.8 assists and a league-leading 38.1 minutes per game this season.

Toronto (37-30) enters Monday's matchup sitting seventh in the Eastern Conference and riding a three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Lakers star LeBron James (knee soreness) also will play after being listed as questionable earlier.
