Toronto Raptors fans will get a chance to see Gradey Dick in action with the newest first-round pick headlining the team's NBA Summer League 2023 roster.
The Raptors named 16 players to their roster with Ron Harper Jr., Joe Wieskamp, Moses Brown, Desmond Cambridge Jr., Ahmad Caver, DJ Hogg, Mouhamadou Gueye, David Johnson, David McCormack, Darryl Morsell, RJ Nembhard, Markquis Nowell, Kevin Obanor, JT Shumate and Moses Wright joining Dick.
Toronto also announced Christian Koloko and Jeff Dowtin Jr. will not participate in NBA Summer League. Koloko, the Raptors second-round pick from 2022, is managing a respiratory condition while Dowtin Jr. underwent surgery in May to remove loose bodies from his right ankle.
Both players will be in Las Vegas for team activities but will not play in any games and will have updates on their progress.
Raptors assistant coach Pat Delany will be the team’s head coach for the tournament with Mike Batiste, Rashaun Broadus, Vin Bhavnani, Drew Jones, Eric Khoury, Noah Lewis, Jama Mahlalela, Karim Nesba, Jim Sann, Ivo Simović and James Wade serving as his assistant coaches.
Dick was selected with the 13th overall pick in the NBA Draft last month and signed his rookie deal through the 2024-25 season.
Toronto begins its Summer League schedule Friday against Chicago.
