Ja Morant is a confident guy.
So confident, in fact, that he believes he could've schooled arguably the greatest player of all-time.
"I wish I played in his generation," Morant said to Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks. "Just how he'd go about the game, just that mindset he had. I would've liked to have played against him.
"I would've cooked him, too," Morant added, with a quiet but self-assured tone. "Nobody has more confidence than [me]."
Morant experienced a supernova-like explosion this past regular season, averaging 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.7 assists in 57 games. He averaged 30.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists in five playoff games as well.
Jordan, who is 6-foot-6, would have a three-inch height advantage over Morant, although that hasn't always stopped the 22-year-old from trying to impact a game.
Morant even extended a challenge to Lionel Messi, saying he'd be the goalkeeper against the Argentinean superstar.
"Nobody gonna beat me in anything. I don't care what sport it is. ... Somebody set it up, man."
