The Miami Heat will try to bounce back in the NBA Finals without two important players.
The team announced that point guard Goran Dragic and centre Bam Adebayo have been ruled out for Sunday’s game. Both players were injured in Game 1 and also missed Game 2.
Dragic is recovering from a plantar tear in his left foot. He is second on the team in playoff scoring with 19.9 points per game and is shooting 35 per cent from three.
Adebayo is dealing with a neck strain. He leads the Heat with 10.9 rebounds per game in the playoffs and is averaging 17.8 points, which is third on the team.
The Lakers lead the series, 2-0, with Game 3 tipping off at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet.
