Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball was fined $100,000 by the NBA for making an offensive and derogatory comment during a televised post-game interview.
The league announced the fine on Sunday.
Ball’s comment came after the Hornets defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 115-114 on Saturday.
The 23-year-old Ball finished with a game-high 26 points, including 15 in the fourth quarter, along with nine rebounds and six assists.
