The Utah Jazz will be without the services of All-Star guard Mike Conley for Game 1 of the team’s second-round series vs. the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
The Jazz announced that the 33-year-old will be sidelined for the opener of the matchup with a right hamstring strain.
Conley has been dealing with the injury since Game 5 of the team’s opening-round series vs. the Memphis Grizzlies, and it appears the five days since were not enough to fully recover.
Conley averaged 17.4 points, 8.6 assists and 3.8 rebounds on 46.7 per cent shooting from the field and 54.8 from three in five games vs. the Grizzlies.
Game 1 between the Jazz and Clippers tips off Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on Sportsnet 360 and SN Now.
