The NBA fined Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown $25,000 on Friday for "aggressively pursuing and directing profane language toward a game official."
Brown was ejected after receiving two technical fouls during the third quarter of Sacramento's 124-123 win over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.
He ran out onto the court to argue with the refs after point guard De'Aaron Fox was assessed a technical foul.
Associate head coach Jordi Fernandez took over for Brown on the bench.
The Kings are sixth in the Western Conference with a 15-12 record.
