The New York Knicks will be without forward OG Anunoby, as he's dealing with right elbow inflammation, ahead of their matchup against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday.
It'll be Anunoby's first time sitting out of a game with the Knicks since making his debut for the team on Jan. 1.
Anunoby has played 14 games for New York to this point and they've gone 12-2 during that span while he's averaged 15.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals.
Since the forward joined the team via trade with the Toronto Raptors, he's helped propel the Knicks' defence into the top tier. New York has a defensive rating of 113.1, ranked eighth in the NBA.
His impact has been undeniable, as the team is 17 points worse on defence when he's off compared to when he's on.
The Knicks were already going to have to try and extend their NBA-leading six-game win streak without the services of Julius Randle as he'll be sidelined for a few weeks due to a shoulder dislocation, but now they'll also be without their defensive anchor on Monday night.
