The Dallas Mavericks have been fined $25,000 by the NBA for violating league rules regarding team bench decorum as several players and a member of coaching staff stood away from Dallas’ team bench and were either on or close to the court.
The Mavericks lost 129-109 to the Phoenix Suns in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals on May 4 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix.
However, this is not the first time the Mavericks bench has gotten rowdy this season.
Previously, the league sent out a "Points of Education" video prior to the playoffs and at one point singled out the Dallas bench for their behaviour.
Game 3 takes place at 9:30 p.m. ET on May 6.
