After missing seven consecutive games, Kyrie Irving got his first chance to take the floor with the revamped Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday following the team’s blockbuster acquisition of superstar James Harden from the Houston Rockets.
Though they put up a valiant effort, the team lost 147-135 in double overtime to the spunky Cleveland Cavaliers, snapping their four-game win streak.
Irving, Harden and Kevin Durant didn’t disappoint on the offensive end, however, with the trio combining for 96 points in their first stint together.
Durant led the way with 38 (his third-straight game of 30 points or more), Harden posted his second triple-double in three games and Irving added 37.
Here are the best moments from the debut performance of the Nets’ Big 3.
