The NBA and NBPA announced on Wednesday that one of the 485 players tested for COVID-19 since March 17 has returned a positive result.
Any player who returns a positive test must isolate until they are cleared under the rules established by the league and its players’ association, which were created in accordance with CDC guidance.
Earlier this month, the NBA announced that two players had tested positive since March 3, with The Athletic’s Shams Charania reporting that both tests occurred before the All-Star break.
