The NBA has officially set its salary cap for the 2024-25 season.
The league announced Sunday that the new salary cap will be $140,588 million, slightly lower than the projected figure.
With the new salary cap figure comes new tax limits for NBA teams.
- The luxury tax will be $170.814 million
- The first apron will be $178,132 million
- The second apron will be $188,931 million
The new cap and tax levels will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. ET on July 1.
The league also announced what the Mid-Level Exceptions (MLE) will be for the 2024-25 season.
- For Non-Taxpayers, the MLE will be $12.822 million
- For Taxpayers, the MLE is $5.168 million
- For teams with room under the salary cap, the MLE is $7.983 million
