Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant is listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, while teammate Kyrie Irving is questionable, according to the league’s latest injury report.
Durant has been out for the past week due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols, while Irving has missed the last two games due to personal reasons.
The 32-year-old Durant, who tested positive for the novel coronavirus back in the spring, has had to quarantine for seven days due to the league’s return-to-play protocols for contact tracing and exposure to COVID-19.
As for Irving, it is not known exactly why he has been out. Nets head coach Steve Nash confirmed in a Friday press conference that he heard from Irving on Thursday evening, but he didn’t elaborate on the details of the conversation, opting to keep the matter private.
