Ben Simmons has left and will not return to the Brooklyn Nets’ game Thursday night against the Detroit Pistons due to left knee soreness.
This is not the first time this year Simmons has left a contest due to the same ailment, and he has missed 11 games for the Nets so far with many being due to knee soreness.
The former All-Star is averaging career lows this year in points (7.6), rebounds (6.7) and assists (6.4) per game this season.
With Kevin Durant already sidelined for a significant period of time due to an MCL sprain, the Nets hope to have Simmons back soon even with his deteriorated play this season.
