MVP chants on the road in the NBA Finals, a historic stat line and high praise from one of his fiercest rivals — looks like Stephen Curry had himself a night.
With his Golden State Warriors with their backs against the wall, needing a win against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden to avoid going down 3-1, Curry poured in 43 points and 10 rebounds on 14-of-26 shooting to even the NBA Finals.
Finals MVP? You'd better bet he's in line to secure that missing piece to his resume should the Warriors win the title. Or even if they don't, really.
With his all-time great performance, Curry joined LeBron James as the only players 34 and older to score 40 points and grab 10 rebounds in an NBA Finals game. He's also the first guard to do so in the Finals since the NBA-ABA merger.
Here are some of the best reactions to a special night from the greatest shooter of all time.
