The Denver Nuggets were able to close out a 137-134 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, but had to do so without the services of Russell Westbrook in the fourth quarter.
It's unclear when the veteran guard suffered the injury, but he was ruled out by the Nuggets shortly into the final quarter with left hamstring tightness.
Westbrook played 25 minutes and scored four points on three shots with seven assists and six turnovers before exiting.
The 36-year-old is in the midst of a bounce-back season with the Nuggets. Now a member of the team's starting five, he has thrived next to MVP Nikola Jokic. Westbrook entered Friday's game averaging 13.2 points, 6.4 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game while shooting 47.6 per cent from the field.
Westbrook, the 2016-17 NBA MVP, is in his 17th NBA season.
With the win, the Nuggets improved to 29-19 on the season, a mark that has them sitting fourth in the Western Conference playoff picture.
