New Orleans Pelicans wing Brandon Ingram exited Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic after suffering an apparent knee injury.
The incident occurred with just under 10 minutes left in the third quarter as Ingram was back-pedalling while defending Magic guard Jalen Suggs. His knee appeared to buckle and the forward would stay down on the floor after the play.
After being looked at by medical personnel on the floor, he was helped by teammates back to the locker room for further evaluation.
Ingram would exit the game having played 21 minutes and scoring 13 points.
The 26-year-old has been solid for the Pelicans this season, averaging 21.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists while shooting 49 per cent from the field and 36 per cent from three-point range.
New Orleans has been on a great run of form of late, winning eight of their last ten games. They sit fifth in the Western Conference with a 42-26 record.
