Toronto Raptors forward O.G. Anunoby exited Friday's game against the Golden State Warriors in the second quarter with a left wrist sprain after taking a hard fall on a dunk attempt, the team announced.
X-rays were negative, but Anunoby will have further tests on Saturday to determine the extent of the injury.
Anunoby crashed to the court after being met in the air by JaMychal Green, who caught the Raptors on the arm. Anunoby was in pain on the floor, grabbing his left wrist.
Anunoby hit one of two free throws before he was taken out of the game and then went to the locker room.
Anunoby is averaging 17.3 points and 5.6 rebounds for the Raptors this season.
The forward's name has been in rumours as the Feb. 9 trade deadline approaches.
The Raptors picked Anunoby in the first round (23rd overall) of the 2017 NBA Draft.
