Toronto Raptors forward O.G. Anunoby will not play on Saturday against the visiting Philadelphia 76ers because of a muscle cramp in the calf area.
Anunoby suffered the injury during a game on Friday in Chicago against the Bulls. He appeared to be limping before he exited.
The Raptors announced the decision about an hour before the game against Philly. An hour or so earlier, they had said Anunoby was going to try to play.
The 26-year-old had 11 points and three rebounds in 28 minutes on Friday before exiting.
He had 20 points in Toronto’s 97-94 season-opening win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night.
Watch the Raptors-76ers game on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet ONE or Sportsnet+.
