Toronto Raptors forward O.G. Anunoby won't be in the lineup against the Portland Trail Blazers because of a left wrist sprain, the team announced Saturday.
Anunoby exited Friday's game against the Golden State Warriors in the second quarter with the injury after taking a hard fall on a dunk attempt.
Anunoby crashed to the court after being met in the air by JaMychal Green, who caught the Raptor on the arm. Anunoby was in pain on the floor, grabbing his left wrist. X-rays on the injury came back negative and there is no timeline for how long Anunoby will be sidelined.
Anunoby hit one of two free throws before he was taken out of the game and then went to the locker room.
Anunoby is averaging 17.3 points and 5.6 rebounds for the Raptors this season.
The forward's name has been in rumours as the Feb. 9 trade deadline approaches.
The Raptors picked Anunoby in the first round (23rd overall) of the 2017 NBA Draft.
